Stampin' Up! Country Club Designer Paper Layout

Hello Crafty Pals!

I hope you are all staying safe & healthy!  Last night I felt like doing a Scrapbook layout.  I went through my retiring SU DSP and had the Perfect picture to scrap.

Here's my Scrapbook layout I made -  I saved our "score card" from the Golf course and used them to embellish my layout. And used four of the  6x6 Designer paper for the background.

I'm a Lucky dog! TSOT Card sketch

Hello Crafty friends!

I bring to you today a SUPER easy card using the Echo Parks "I love my Dog" paper kit.. I have 2 "Pups" that I enjoy every day!  They love me unconditionally and  are always ready to be there for their mom ( ME!). I also Volunteer at the Tri-County Animal Shelter helping keep the dogs & Kitties environment clean, healthy and to give them extra attention.  Recently I started making cards for them to send to New Parents that have Adopted an animal from there. 

It is time for me to make some more cards for them so I pulled out my Dog kit and played along with the Try Stampin' on Tuesday Sketch

In all fairness there is no stamping on this card BUT I wanted to share it anyway.  Alot of the Echo Parks kits come with the cutest journal or accent Images that you can literally use just them!

Monday Monday........... Stampin' UP To a Wild Rose and a Freshly Made Sketch

Hello Crafty friends!  I hope you are all staying safe & healthy and finding time to do something you enjoy! :-) 

I got to do a bit of crafting this past weekend.  I live in Maryland and it was chilly, damp, & rainy most of the weekend. 

I am sharing with you a card I made using the Freshly Made Sketch.  I am not going to lie......  It was a great challenge for me!!  It called for a "clean" design.  So I had to "STOP" myself several times to not keep adding lol. 

I used the Stampin' UP! stamp set "To a Wild Rose" for my card.  I love how you have "layers" of the flower in the stamp set.  It's a great way to add depth and dimension.  AND the plus is that it is NOT being retired.  :-)

Card Sketch and Stampin' Up Retiring Products!

It's Finally Friday!! What a long week it has been in healthcare.  I hope everyone is staying safe, healthy and finding some time to be crafty!

I am bringing you today a card I made using the Sketch from Atlantic Hearts.  I used the Stampin' up! stamp set called "To A Wild Rose".   I love this 3 step Flower!! And the leaves that go with it!  

It was a Great sketch to follow to use up some of my Designer Paper scraps too!  

I plan to send out more cards this weekend to family and friends.  I miss them all!!

Stampin' Up gave Demonstrators their first peek at the new Annual Catalog last night - and it full of gorgeous new products! The new catalog launches on 3rd June and to make way for all the new goodies, some products are retiring and are only available while stocks last.

Sketchnscrap Layout

Hello!

I hope everyone is hanging in there and staying safe!  I know it is definitely a stressful and trying time for us all.  Be sure to do something that brings you JOY everyday!  It's something to look forward to and a great distraction (for a bit) from the world we are living in today.

Last night I took time to listen to one of my favorite Musicians PRINCE! While having a glass of wine and scrapbooking!

I turned to some of the blogs that I follow for their sketches and found this scrapbook layout sketch from Sketchnscrap!

The sketch gave me  direction and ideas for sure!!  I only had one large (5x7) Picture that I wanted to scrap so I did make some changes.  

I am still LOVING the Bird Ballad Suite Collection from Stampin up!  I thought it was perfect for this picture!  And am very pleased with the end result.  And you know how we can all be our own worst critic!  :-)

I love this Die set that is so versatile !!  I stamped & colored the birds and flowers from the Bird Ballad stamp set as well.

I am soooo SUPER excited that as a Stampin' UP demonstrator I will be getting a SNEAK Preview today of the new Catalog that is coming out -  It will be going LIVE in June So stay tuned.

It's Friday and time to share some other Crafts!

Hello Everyone,

It's Friday.  And I was off today for a much needed LONG weekend from Healthcare.  CRAFTING is my Happy place. 

Today I did some different crafts from card making and scrapbook pages.  I worked on some Reverse Canvas ( I totally YOU TUBED how to do it ) and a Birthday shirt for me!  Tomorrow is my Birthday!  And I will be spending it at home.  Crafting, drinking wine and more crafting!  OH maybe a good meal that is Curb side pick up and take home. :-)

So here are some of the things I have been working on!  I used my Cricut to make these.

As you can see we are Dog Lovers.  A lab and a beagle ............ yes weird combo but they love each other like they are REAL brother and sister!!

Stampin' up Bird Ballad Suite with a Try Stampin' on Tuesday Sketch

Hello Crafty Friends!!

I hope this card brings some Spring to you.  Here in Maryland the weather has been in the 70's some days and then back down to the 40's (brrrrr).  I love the warmer weather so looking forward to warmer days ahead.  And then of course flowers will be blooming and the Birds will be chirping!!

Speaking of Birds I am still playing with the beautiful Stampin up Bird Ballad Suite collection.  I absolutely LOVE the colors. And the stamps and Designer paper are BEAUTIFUL!!!

But wait........  don't like to stamp?  Or don't have the time?   This card I ONLY stamped the sentiment.  That's right !! I cute the birds with the flowers out of the Bird Ballad Designer Paper !  Just a little bit of fussy cutting made the PERFECT image for  my card. And that delicate overlay on my card is also available in the Bird Ballad collection.   Let me know if you have any questions!


I used the layout idea from the Try Stampin' on Tuesday Sketch.  Absolutely love that sketches give me some ideas on "where to start" when creating a card. 

I hope you are finding time to be crafting during all the Social Isolation!  It makes time go by and is a great Stress reliever for sure!

Exciting Announcement and a NEW Sketch!

Hello there Crafty friends!

I have an EXCITING announcement to make.  I just signed up to be a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator!  I just love their stamps, dies, embellishments and how everything coordinates so Beautifully!  If you don't already have a Demonstrator just let me know if you have any questions. 

Of course I love many other companies products so I will continue to bring them to you as well when I create!

But since I just got my Stampin' up  Starter Kit I pulled out the Bird Ballad Suite to make a card following this sketch from Case this Sketch #367.

And this is the card I made.  I must tell you these Bird stamps are beautiful!  I just used my colored pencils and blended with gamsol to color the birds.  And the dies are from that collection as well.

Try Stamping on Tuesday Sketch

Hello Everyone!

 I hope you are all staying SAFE & HEALTHY!  Hopefully you are getting some crafty time in as we continue to Social Distance.  It's a GREAT stress reliever for me so I have been trying to Craft as often as I can...... And I still am working as an essential employee at a Veterans Nursing home.

This is the card I came up with using the Park Lane "Woodland" paper pack.  I fussy cut the lil birds out and really like the way this turned out.  I would have never thought of this card layout on my own so LOVE Sketches!

Mothers Day Card

Hello everyone.  I hope you are all safe, healthy and social distancing.  I am still working as a Case Manager in a Nursing home.  We are all considered essential and taking precautions.  I have found that being creative once I get home from work helps relax me. 

So I used a sketch from this weeks Case this Sketch and am playing along with The Paper Players to help me get some ideas and a starting point for my card.

I chose to use Ribbon, Spring and flowers for a Mothers day card I had been planning to create. 

The Stamp set is a beautiful one from Close to my heart.  It was the February Stamp of the  month CHERISH HER and perfect for those special Moms we will be honoring in May for Mothers day.

I colored in the Bouquet of flowers with my Ohuhu markers and used some Nuvo Drops to add some sparkle. 

I hope you are being creative today!!  In these times it is a HUGE Stress Reliever :-)

Inspired by Case that Sketch!

Hello Everyone,

I know we are all going through some trying times.  I hope that you are all staying SAFE & HEALTHY!   Please continue to social distance where ever you are. 

I am sharing a card I made using the Case this sketch #365 Card sketch .  Sketches really help me to find a starting point so I often look at the sketches to get my creative Mojo in action!

I used the Echo Park I love my Dog paper.  LOVE this paper collection.  It's just toooo dang CUTE!  And the Puppy is from the Puppy Playtime stamp set from Newtons Nook Design.

I colored him just a tad bit with coloring pencils and used gamsol to blend.  I just recently started experimenting with it.  And love how they blend.  I will be sharing more projects soon!
