Happy Hump Day!!  

With a 4 day weekend coming up I am really excited that it's Hump day!!  Today I have a Birthday card to share with you.  I never seem to have enough birthday cards.  Do you?  And if you are a scrapbooker but don't make cards............ well I am sure you have lots of scraps and Cards are easy with a few embellishments or a sketch! 

I love these Library Cards with Pockets from Peebles!! They were in my Birds of a Feather kit this month!  Different sentiments are on them and in beautiful colors!! The paper is from Simple Stories I Love Summer which is also from this months kit!! 

   I then used embellishments ( flowers & butterflies) from Simple Stories "Vintage Bliss" Collection.  Easily put together and all ready to go!

 Love these colors!!  

I also used a PINK PASILEE Burlap flower and Stampin' up leaf dies. 

The small flower is cut using my Close to my Heart Cricut Cartridge.

Beach Time

Happy Monday!

Really pulling out the Older pictures here!  Well ....13 years ago pictures.  Here are pics of my family at Bethany Beach in 2000.  This months Birds of a Feather kit was perfect for these!  

This is also the "Simple Stories" I love summer kit that I have been using for several posts in the last week.  Love the Cardstock Stickers!!

Hello Sunshine Card!!!

It's a Sun Shiney Day!!  And I made this cute little pop up card using my Birds of a Feather kit and the Close to my heart Artiste Cricut Cartridge.  I love the Simple Stories "I heart Summer" Collection!  It has fun, Happy colors and the cardstock stickers are too cute!!  I used the Bike sticker as my image for the front of this card.  How simple is that!!?  

The card is cut out using the Close to my heart Cricut Cartridge and comes with a coordianting pop up insert for inside the card.  This one is the HELLO one!  And I added some more stickers from the paper collection. Don't you just LOVE how it pops up!!  The cloud is cut out with the Close to my heart Artiste cartridge as well.  Too cute!  There is another one that pops out that says LOVE as well!

Record the Moment - Grandma Jenna

I have been looking through my photos and have been drawn to some pics lately from over 10 years ago.  You know the ones in the box of photos but you never had been drawn to scrap them yet.  Sometimes I just feel they are "special" and I have to be ready to scrap them.  This is one of those pics.  This is my Grandma Jenna who is gone now. This picture is about 12 years old at the family reunion.  Note my son is only 6 months here and is now 13!!  <3 him!

I used my August Birds of a Feather August kit.  Using the Simple Stories "I heart Summer " collection and embellishments.  Really like the colors and am Happy I finally scrapped this picture in honor of Grandma Jenna!

We all miss her every day!

Summertime Birthday card

Happy Hump Day!!!

I wanted to make a birthday card and it's still SUMMER here!!  In the 80's now and will get up to 90's this weekend.  So I had my Summer time kit out from Birds of a Feather August kit. for August and made this card.

The paper is from the " I HEART SUMMER" By Simple Stories.   Love the papers and the cardstock stickers with this kit~  And the layering from the sketch I used from Deconstructed Sketch was great for this card.  Just love the bright colors and fun lovin' feel to this kit!

Papa John & Mom

Happy Friday!!!

Just finished the final touches on this layout that I have been working on all week. ( Yes it's taken a week with minutes here/there lol)   

This layout means alot to me since of course it's "MY MOM" but also because she has found true love with John my new "Papa".  They were married last November and I see that they are truly happy together and have a long Journey ahead of them!  

The saying is "Our love is a journey,  starting at forever, and ending at never".

I used all the supplies that came in my Birds of a Feather August Kit.   Love the bright colors !!! And the embellishments are spectacular!   

Most of the paper is from the "Glitz" paper collection - Color me Happy!  The Hot balloon is from this collection as well.  I used my Close to my heart Cricut cartridge Artiste to cut the clouds and Mr. & Mrs. out. I embossed the clouds to give them some texture.  Also used the twine and black Tulle from Close to my heart.  I am happy with the outcome.  And I just love this pic!!

Happy Birthday Card

YEAH!!  Lol 

 I wanted to share a card I made over the weekend.  Still lovin' the Secret Garden set from my friend Renee who is a consultant for Stampin up!  Yes yes I am a consultant for Close to my heart BUT there is enough scrappiness to go around for all!!   I also used an embossing folder and punch from Stampin Up.  I  used the Garden Green, Chocolate, and Buttercup Close to my heart cardstock and sparkles.  Fairly simple design.  

Don't you just love those flowers ( stamps and framelits) from Stampin' up?

Wild Flower Meadow Birthday card

Happy Friday!! 

Don't you just LOVE it when  a project comes out like you envisioned!!! That's what happened with this card!  I want to make LOTS more of these with different colors.   I am still lovin' this Wild flower Meadow stamp and embossing folder from Stampin' up.   It's truly amazing.   And today I stamped the stamp a light dessert sand color.  Then I colored in the flowers and leaves with markers.  Finishing up by using the coordinating embossing folder.  Its too bad you can't see the embossed areas in this picture!!  Then I added some bling and a sentiment.   I really love the elegance of this card and it could be for many different occasions!!
