My Baby Love

I had a chance to do some scrappin "here & there" this past week.  Have you ever taken a week or more to complete a layout due to time or just waiting for "inspiration" to strike you to put on the finishing touches?  This happens to me............ Alot!! ;-)  

And happened to me with this layout.   I actually saw a similar layout and started with the basics of it.  Don't you love the heart cut outs in same paper as the background and popped out on pop dots?  It adds dimension and lends  to the LOVE theme.   I titled it "My baby Love" and its my son Dominic ( who is now 13) when he was just 3 months old!!!  <3

I used materials from my November Birds of a Feather kit to make this layout.  The paper is from "Carta Bella" Hello Again collection.  And some embellishments from "Heidi Swapp" Mixed company collection.

The hearts were cut out with Stampin' up punches and the banner is from "Verve" die cuts.  I am happy with the way it turned out and can't wait to create some more projects with this months kit!!

Wishing you a Merry Christmas

Happy Friday!!

Are you all ready to get into the Holiday Season?  Well It'll be here before you know it with Thanksgiving right around the corner!!

Here is a card I made using a New Stamp I purchase from my friend Renee Davey who sells Stampin Up.  Love this stamp.  I embossed it with White embossing powder and distressed ink in Chocolate.   The paper is from Basic Grey Christmas collection that I had left over from last year.   I have to admit the layout is very much like the one in the Stampin up Holiday flyer.   Isn't it too cute!!

Birthday Wishes Card

Happy Hump Day!! YEAH!!  

I played along with the Sweet Sunday Card Sketch  yesterday to make this "Birthday Wishes" Card.  I had my new Stampin up Lace Doily die cut out to use and my November Birds of a Feather Kit.  This paper is from the Heidi Swapp "Mixed Company" paper Collection.  Love these fresh & fun prints! I used the Flower from one of the papers to use as my focal point for this card.  Also used my Verve Birthday stamp with a Verve die cut for the sentiment.  Hope to get to scrap some more with these awesome papers!!!

"Hugs" Card

Happy Friday!!

It's been a longggggg week !  Maybe it's the time change but it's been a draggin' along.   I am happy I will have time to scrap with my pals this weekend again.

Today I have a card to share with you using this weekend sketch from Deconstructed Sketch. 

The Papers I used are from Crate Papers "Close Knit" Collection.  And the cute HUGS Stitched Border is from Crate Paper as well.  I cut out little Kraft color hearts and cut out scalloped borders as well.

Birthday Card

Happy Hump day!!!

I was able to get some card making in the last couple of days!! Woo Hoo!  As you can tell from my blog its been a little while so I am happy to have a card to share with you today!

Here is a birthday card I made using the sketch this week at  Retrosketch.  I used more manly colors since I never have those on hand and ready.  The paper is from Simple stories  and I used the Verve "Birthday Wishes" stamp.  I added some bling, twine and buttons to embellish.

Happy Birthday Card

I have been super busy with work( FT Case Manager),  my Part time jobs ( Origami Owl and Thirty One ) and Running around for Football the last week and haven't had ANY time to play in  my scrappy room with my scrappy stuff!!! BOO HOO!!

I did manage to sneak in there last night and make a card for an upcoming birthday. I am still using up my Authentique papers that just happened to be on my desk. I am using a sketch from a few weeks ago that was on Retrosketch Sketches  for a fast and simple card. Flower from Petaloo with the stems cut out with a Stampin up die.  Happy Birthday stamp from Close to my heart.  I hope to get more scrappy soon!!

Wonderful Beautiful Day!

It Hump day!  YEAH!  lol

I wanted to share this card I made using  this weeks Retro Sketch . I  made it for an upcoming Wedding thus the stamp "Wonderful Beautiful Day" from Close to my heart.  The little flowers are also stamped with a Close to my heart Stamp.  The paper is from the pack I have been using lately and am soo in love with!!  The Authentique Be YOU tiful collection.  Almost have used it all up :-(  Will have to get more.  The Yellow larger flower is from Petaloo.   I added some crochet ribbon and sparkles to finish it off.

A little Reminder card

Hello crafty friends!

I am playing along with the Viva La Verve Sketch challenge this week.  I am still using up my Authentique Beautiful papers I have been working with the last week.  And so since we never have enough Thank you cards for teachers  etc. I made this card. 

I used my Verve banner die for this card which was perfect for their sketch.  All papers from my kit from Birds of a feather  . Lots of layering and some extra embellishments to finish this card.

Be-{you}tiful Lilly

Happy Hump Day Friends!

Here is a layout I finished of my niece Lilly and I LOVE IT!  I don't always get that from every layout.  You know that feeling that it came out good enough to do the pictures justice!  :-)

First I had the photos printed out in sepia.  The paper is from Authentique and is the Be-{you}tiful Collection.  The chipboard Doily is from Blue Fern Studios and I painted it yellow and dabbed it with Brown paint.  The flowers are from Petaloo and the Letters "Lilly" from American Craft Thickers.

Dom growing by inches, feet & yards at 13!

Happy Monday!!!  

I was able to finish a few projects this weekend!   I am happy to share this Layout of my Son Dom who is now 13.  He just really has grown so much this past year.  And not just in size but personal growth as well.  Very Proud of him!

Here's the Layout!

I used the Authentique "Be(you)Tiful Paper collection. The Photo Overlay is from Crate Paper. The title is uses a alot of different alphabets I had in my stash plus some American Crafts Thickers.  I printed the photo in Black & White and really LOVE  <3 how it turned out!!
