Pinocchio

I have been on a roll now with Disney pics from our trip last year.   I happen to still have some VERY retired  paper from Close to my heart that is Disney Themed so I used that for these Pics of my son Dominic meeting with Pinocchio and getting his Autograph.  It was called Zippeedee! And the stickers with it were perfect!   I used a sketch to do this layout from Scrapbook Generation.

I am pleased with the end result.

Down Town Disney

I have sooo many Disney pics to scrap.  And the trip was from a year ago.  You know us scrappers tend to have Paparazzi syndrome lol.   And sometimes I don't always want to use Disney stickers for the scrapbook pages I do for Disney. Especially if it was a moment where they are not "live" Disney characters in the  pics or the pics are more about where we were or what we were visiting. So here I used the April Birds of a Feather kit to scrap these pics of our visit to Downtown Disney visit .  So  much to see and do!  We loved our day down there.  

I tend to make good use of my monthly kits and like to use up as much as possible!!  lol   This paper is from the My Minds eye papers that were in the April BOAF kit as well.   And the "Remember this day" is also from My Minds eye.  And I almost used the rest of my enamel dots up!! Love those!  Various alphabet stickers used for the title and my Disney cartridge to cut out "Disney".  I am happy with the outcome.

U R One Amazing Boy

I love the kit this month from Birds of a Feather Kit !!  For this card I used the Echo Paper Paper that was in the kit.  I love the 4 x 6 Journal cards since I can use them for my card making as well!  And My son has been doing VERY well in school which does always come easy to him......... so I made this card with him in mind and will give it to him with an awesome test grade or interim.  

I did add some My Minds eye enamel dots that came with the kit and some twine.   I pulled out my Close to my heart stamps and stamped some stars and used the U & R from their Alphabets that you can color with ink.  And I used my Stampin up punch to punch the side of the journal card to look like notebook paper.   I can't wait to surprise him!!

Hello Friend Card

Here is a card I wanted to share using my April Birds of a Feather kit.   I love the Echo Park "All about a Boy" papers.  And the cute Hot air Balloon  from the Stickers that are with the kit I wanted to make a Focal point.  All products from Echo park except the MY MINDS EYE enamel dots and the Jillibean label.  I used a Sketch from Mojo Monday for the design.

Seed Packets

Happy Friday!! 

  I hope everyone can get some scrappy time in this weekend.  I sure hope I do!  I do the majority of mine on the weekend and post throughout the week any thing I have made on my blog.  

Today I am sharing some little Seed packets I made using Close to my hearts Buzz and Bumble kit and the Close to my hearts ARTISTE cricut cartridge.   I used the cartridge to cut out this cute "git card" but made it a seed holder in a friend theme.  

The paper, stamps and embellishments are all from the Buzz and Bumble WOTG kit.  The flower was cut out with the ART PHILOSOPHY cricut cartridge   I added some Burlap ribbon and Almond Glitter Glitz Ask me more about this fabulous kits!!

Bride & Groom Layout

Hello, 

I am sharing the 2nd two page Layout today that I made with the Close to my heart kit.  I love the Buzz & Bumble Workshop on the Go!!  My mom remarried last November and here is her and my new "Dad" at their wedding.  Isn't my mom a beautiful bride?  The flowers are a stamp that is included in this kit.  Using the embellishments from the kit and added some of the new burlap CTMH has.

This is a layout from my Mom's Bridal Shower last fall.  I used the Buzz And Bumble Workshop on the Go from Close to my heart.  Ask me how to get yours!!  The Workshop on the Go's from Close to my heart come with the Whole Paper pack, lots of embellishments and a stamp set.   Enough to do two Four page layouts and much MORE!  Love them as they have detailed instructions for the layouts.

Dominic at 3

Hello!

I think I mentioned before that I took down most of the 8 x 10 pics that I had up and down the hallway at home as it was starting to be FULL!!  So I took them out of frames and plan to scrapbook them all!!  So if you keep seeing the larger pics on scrapbook layouts that is my  plan!   It helped that the Birds of a Feather April kit has awesome colors and I was happy to scrap this pic of my son when he had just turned 3 and was attending preschool.  

I used the "All about a Boy" paper  and sticker collection from Echo Park,   Love the colors and how easily it came together.

Birthday Wishes

Yippee!! It's Friday!! It's been a long week and I am so hoping I get to get scrappy this weekend!  I wanted to share this card I made using this Months Birds of a Feather kit and the sketch from Retro Sketch.    I love the colors in this kit!! Here's my card!

This is using the papers from the kit by Echo Park " All about a Boy!".  And the focal image is from Echo park and the FUN is cut out from Echo park as well.  Birthday wishes is a stamp from Close to my heart.

Happy 5th Birthday!

Well I am so happy with the Birds of a Feather April kit!  I used the My Minds Eye "Collectable" collection papers to make this Birthday card for a sweet little boy soon turning 5!  The kit also comes with the Studio Calico Wood Veneer shapes which match perfectly with this kit!!  The sketch is from this weeks Deconstructed Sketch.  Don't know what I would do without a sketch as a starting point!! lol

Thank you card

I am using up some more of my March Birds of a Feather kit paper.  The Blue stripe paper was perfect for the Nautical feel that I was going for with this Sailboat Thank you card.   I started with this Sailboat Stickease sticker that is a Long ago one from Close to my heart. This is a great way to use up those stickers or images that you didn't use with the  scrapbook pages or cards you made "way back then" lol.  Throw it on a card!  The sketch is from The Sweetest thing. I added some Jenni Bowlin Notebook paper and a Thank you wooden label from Jillibean soup as well.  Very simple  card all ready to Sail away!

Pastel Birthday card

Well it may still be chilly here but it is SPRING!!  And I needed to make a card so I pulled out some pastel papers from Colorbok and went to work to make this card.  I like the springy feel to it and added some Prima Flowers and butterflies from a Stampin up die.  The sketch is from Last weeks Mojo Monday sketch.  Love using sketches to inspire me when making cards of layouts.  Check the right side of my blog to see some amazing sites with that have weekly sketches!

Incredible Dad Card

Hello!!  I was starting think of Mother's & Father's Day coming up and the need for some cards.  I  wanted to use the sketch from Deconstructed sketch and this is what I came up with.

I used papers from my Birds of a Feather kit from March.  Then pulled out my Close to my heart stamps and embellishments to finish off this card.  I cut out the #1 Dad with the CTMH Artiste Cartridge. The Stamp "Pure Adventure" is used for the frame and word "Incredible".  I am happy with the outcome.

Here is a layout of my Darling Daughter Destiny who is now 19 and in college!  Here she is in the 3rd grade. I used my Birds of a Feather March Kit . This is the  Little Yellow Bicycle "Just Because" collection.  I love the flower paper with the red in this pic.  And the Vellum word strips were a cute addition.  I added various flowers and brads I had laying around.
