No posts for a week............ Cuz we are in Disney!!

Yep we are in Disney World for a week!! And I am from Maryland where it's been in the 40' s ( with some warmer days) but its Winter there. Well here in the Magical world of Disney its 80 degrees!! AHH so nice. We spent our first day in Magic Kingdom and here is our pic from the Famous Space Mountain!

Stella 18th Birthday!

I pulled out the Stella Paper pack that is NEW from Close to my heart. My daughter is turning 18!! How time flies. Before you know it she will be off to college. WOW!

I used the sketch from MOJO MONDAY (see the right button on blog) and a card Vicki Wizniuk has posted recently for the layout.

I used the CARD CHATTER Birthday stamp set for the sentiment. Used the CTMH cricut cartridge to cut out border, circle, scallop and the #18!! Love it!

And the lagoon buttons with waxy flax and lagoon ribbon from CTMH
finishes it off. I think she will like it!!

Footloose Star card

Making the most of all the new papers I have and had some "Footloose" sitting there on my workstation. Here I used a Clear card, Footloose paper and the "Under the sea" stamp set. This stamp set is so versatile! Sure it's great for beachy or summer days. BUT the cute images with the inspirational sayings make them so much more useful for any occasion!

I used the CTMH cricut cartridge to cut out the shape that the star is stamped on. Waterbrushed to color in star. And added some hemp and a wooden button and there you have it.

NEW Florentine Paper!!

I am lovin all the new Papers in the NEW Close to my heart Idea book. Here is a card I made using the "Florentine" paper pack and the "Remarkable Wreath" stamp set.

I used the MOJO Monday sketch to help me along with the layout of this card. You can visit them to the right of my blog! Great sketches!

I also used our NEW colonial white seam binding ribbon and used creme brule ink on it. It took the color very well as you see!! So many possibilities!!

Pemberley Card

I can't seem to put this paper pack away!! I just keep using it!!

The card comes together easy with these patterned papers. The flower is actually a cut out flower from the Patterned paper. Pearls in the middle of the flower and popped up with popdots.

CTMHs new seam binding ribbon and the sentiment using the stamp set "Card Word Puzzle" A MUST have!!
