Mojo Monday Sketch Birthday card

Hello!!  I started using this weeks Mojo Monday Sketch  For a Birthday card  I need to make for "Papa John" who just turned 55!!  It did take a little life of it's own after I really got into it further.  I have a hard time with Male cards anyways so I just went with it! lol Here is the sketch-

But here is where I ended up!! 

I used Products from both the December and January Birds of a Feather kit.   Don't you love that chevron "Glitz" Paper?  It was GREAT for a masculine card?  The Prima Postmarks came in handy for the "Birthday" sentiment ( they were in the Dec BOAF kit)    I also the thickers for the Numbers 55.  Stamps and wooden buttons are from Close to my heart.  The "Happy" sticker is an older one from 7 Gypsy's I had.

My Minds Eye meets Close to my heart Artiste!

Hello everyone.  Yes I know Christmas is over BUT I have a huge family and we will still be catching up with one another and celebrating through the New year!   

I needed to make a gift card holder and a ornament box. So I used my Close to my heart Artiste Cricut Cartridge to cut out this little box and the little purse.   The paper, chipboard, and ribbon are using the December Birds of a Feather kit.  

I love the My Minds Eye "All is bright" collection which I used for both of these. Super easy and add a personal touch to those last minute gifts.

Deconstructed Sketch No. 82

Playing along with the Deconstructed Sketch and made this card.   Have lots of "Winter" type paper out thanks to my December Bird of a feather kit so I changed up from the Holidays and made this a Birthday card that I need for January.

This time I used the Basic Gray "Aspen Frost" collection from BOAF.  Love those Flocked rub ons and the paper that can be versatile when needed.

My Minds Eye Christmas layout

I recently signed up for the Birds of a Feather monthly kit.  The December kit featured the MY MINDS EYE "All is Bright " Collection which I love!  Here is a Layout of my son Dominic all dressed up at for the  "Winter Ball" at my work.  This picture was perfect for this collection.  

I used the paper, chipboard elements, buttons all from this collection.  And the thickers that came with the kit were great to add the year.  I have some more Christmas pics I plan to scrap as well!!

Pear and Partridge Christmas card

This is one of the cards from the CTMH Pear & Partridge Card Workshop on the go!!

I did change it a bit and here is what I came up with .

I just made some "cut" changes from the WOTG and added using the Cricut cartridge Artiste to cut out the stamped image shape.  Are any of you tired of making Christmas cards?? I am getting there!! lol :-0

Christmas Gift bag

I just love decorating a gift bag with all of my scraps that are left from scrapbooking and card making!!  So I buy the "plain" ones and Personalize it for Gift giving.

Here is one I used CTMH Pear and Partridge Papers, stamps and the Artiste Cricut cartridge too to cute out the image that is stamped on and for the cute little bow!!

Easy to do with scraps and gives it that extra special touch!

Snow flake Christmas

Here is a card that  I wanted to change up from red/green thing I had been doing for weeks now!  (Because I love the Pear and Partridge Paper from CTMH !! lol). So I pulled out Brown and light Blue and made this Snowflake card.

I used a retired CTMH background, as well as CTMH seam binding ribbon, a Dimensional snowflake that I added some glitter and Sparkles.  

Felt good to change it up a bit. Now if I could just get motivated to wrap presents!! UGH!! Not my favorite thing to do!

I am really pumping out the gift cards now!! Look out!! lol  I am finding that my kids and some other family members want gift cards but I want to at least give it to them in a "pretty" holder.

Here is another one I made.

Again I used my "fancy" Artiste Cricut cartridge to cut out the gift card holder.  I really love this cartridge. It is a must have!!

And the Artiste cart also cuts out that DARLING Little bow as well!

Today I wanted to share with you a gift card I made using the CTMH Artiste Cricut Cartridge.  Super easy just like I want it to be!!  I love to "craft" every day even if its just for a few moments here and there.  So I love a quick and easy project so I can get my "fix" for the day! lol :o)

Christmas wishes

Only 15 more days until Christmas!!  Woohoo!  I am excited since I am getting a new SCRAPPY room with a new  Desk and more for it!  Can't wait to organize and feel Creative.  

But in the mean time until Santa comes I am plugging away at more Christmas cards and gift cards. Here is a 3 1/2 by 8 card I created that I wanted to share. 

This came together easily using all the Close to my Heart Products that coordinate!  Pear & Partridge Paper pack. And  I love the "IN COLOR HOLIDAY DIMENSIONALS".   That is the Banner that says Christmas Wishes.  And the little green snowflake button.  CUTE!! And I added twine bows on each side and some sparkles.  CUTE!!

Christmas Gift card

I am working on some gift cards as well as Christmas Cards and thought I would share one with you.   I used the ARTISTE CTMH Cricut cartridge to cut out this gift card.  Also cut out the cute BOW from the Artiste cartridge as well.  Added bling and a bird from the Pear and Partridge rub ons.   Pear and Partridge paper used.  All Products by Close to my heart.   Simple cute and easy to make!!

It's a Sketch Challenge this week at H2H!

This week from H2H we are challenging you with a sketch challenge!  Here is the sketch .

And here is my version of this sketch making a  3 1/2 x 8 card for Christmas but of course!!

Using all Products from Close to my heart of course for this card.

I used Close to my hearts all ready for you Cards in this size (C1738 ) I add the Pear and Partridge Paper pack for the base layer of paper.   I also used the "Giving and Sharing" sentiment from CTMH Dimensional Elements in Color for Holidays ( Z1772).  The Stockings are from the Awesome Pear & Partridge Glittery Rub ons!  (X7162C)  Love them !! They go on smooth and have 4 sheets of rub ons in the set.  I topped it off by silver embossing the Sentiment from the stamp set PERFECT FIT -  HOLIDAYS and snowflakes.  Adding some silver trim, glitz gel and sparkles gave it some  Holiday sparkle!

Christmas Card File box Holder

 Working on lots and lots of Christmas cards here!!  I decided to use the Artiste Cartridge to make a Holder for some of my cards I am making.   This is too cute!! And easily holds 5 cards and envelopes when cut at 6 inches.  Comes together quickly and makes a great gift!!  

I used the Christmas Pear and Partridge Paper pack.  Also the Perfect fit Holiday stamp set and the Chocolate Stripped Grosgrain Ribbon to accent.  I will be sharing the cards with you as well next time!!

Little Christmas Tree Box

Well we are done with Thanksgiving so it is on to the Christmas season!!  

I had out my ARTISTE Cricut cartridge making TONS of cool stuff and wanted to try this little tree box.  TOO easy and Cute!!!  I used the Pear and Partridge Paper pack to cut it out.  And isn't that little Birdie Too cute from the PERFECT FIT HOLIDAYS  $9.95 B1412 stamp set.  I used my CTMH blending pen and ink pads  to color the birdie in and it is all ready for some goodies to be put in!!  Added some pearls for some bling.  Thanks for stopping by!!!

Stella notepad Box

I had time to play "quite a bit ! :-)" over the weekend!  Want to share a few of my latest creations with the Artiste Cricut Cartridge Exclusive through Close to my heart!

Here  is a "Note pad box" I made and I love the little "buckles" on the corners!!  The Paper is the STELLA paper pack and the Stamp set is "JUST FOR  YOU"  $9.95 B1398.  I love this stamp set!! The shape is cut out by the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge and I love how you can stamp each "petal" a different color.  I also used Mocha pearls, ribbon and our Baker's Twine to  embellish.  Inside is a notepad and a few card like the one shown.

Little Flirty Box

I know alot of you are catching those Black Friday deals!! 

 Have fun with that!  I may do some internet shopping but can't see doing the Store shopping.  <<< shudder >>>  too many crowds for me!

I wanted to share with you just ONE of the cute little boxes you can made with the  New Cricut Cartridge from Close to my heart ARTISTE.  I have made a few and they are darling!! 

Here is one I used that is the flower topped little box using the Flirty papers and topped with some Color-Ready Garden Wooden Shapes.     $5.95 Z1718 for 24 shapes

I love that they can be"colored" and there are so many different ones in the pack.  We now have the garden shapes and the fall Arbor shapes available!  Too cute!

And here is a slice of "Pie" I have to share with you! This "Pie" holder is cut from the Close to my heart Artiste Cricut cartridge! Love this cartridge! I also cut out the "rosette" for the top from Artiste Cricut bundle! I used the paper pack Clementine and embellished with some of the CTHM burlap ribbon, wood buttons, mocha pearls and cut some of the flowers from the Patterned paper from Clementine for the layers of flower embellishments. This week on  H2H we  challenge  you to scrap something that shares your "Gratefulness".  It can be a card, layout or paper creation!!

I choose to use my Artiste Cricut Cartridge to make this cute little box!! It came together so easy!!   All products are close to my heart!!  I plan to put a sweet treat inside for one of my friends!  I stamped with the " A little Thanks" stamp set  (D14444)  inside the sentiment that says GIVE THANKS.

The pumpkin is from the "So grateful" stamp set  (B1395)  I also used Close to my hearts NEW BURLAP RIBBON <<--------- Love it!  And cut out a Rosette for under the pumpkin with  the new Artiste Cartridge.  Thanks for stopping by!!

Flirty Swing card

I just can NOT get enough of these swing cards!!!  

The "cut" is on the new Close to my Heart Artiste Cricut cartridge.  There are NINE to choose from for the "center" and we have many stamps that "fit" right in the swing middle image.  LOVE IT!!

This one is using the CTMH Flirty Paper pack that are beautiful feminine or fall colors!!   I can't wait to work some more with this paper pack!!!  The stamp (Birthday Wishes) is from ONE of the THREE stamps sets included with the Artiste Cricut cartridge Bundle!!  And it fits right in the center of this swing card!!  

I also used the "Birthday Card Chatter" for the inside.   The Balloon and candle are also from the Artiste Cricut Cartridge Bundle.    I Left some space by the candle so I can add an age once I give the card.

I am getting into The Holidays mode and have started on Christmas cards. So I used Pear and Partridge Papers which have the browns and greens and as Much as I love that cute owl I used the bird in the PERFECT FIT Holidays (B1412) stamp set. 

Can I just tell you how much I love the  "S" Swing card cut out option on the NEW ARTISTE CTMH Cricut cartrdge?   I really do!!  I cut out this cut with that option and there are NINE other shapes for the center.  And the PERFECT FIT FRAMES (D1527) has four stamps that fit the Middle of these (and lots of other things as well~!)   These two stamp sets are MUST haves in the Catty!!

H2H Challenge - Pumpkin week!

This is a PERFECT challenge from H2H this week.  Make something with Pumpkins for Fall or Halloween!

Well my mom is getting married in just a few weeks so I made these cute little pumpkins as party favors for her bridal shower!   I used the Close to my heart NEW cricut cartrdige Artiste!  This cartridge also have TONS of cute little 3D treats, boxes and more to create!  So much that you just have to check it!  Go here for more info!  Artiste  

I placed little mini candy bars in the inside.   I used our burlap for the stem and waxy flax for tying them closed and adding some embellishments   The leaves are also cut out using the Artiste Cricut cartridge!  So much fun to be had!!

H2H Challenge - Create a "BIG" card

The Challenge this week on H2H is to make a "bigger" card.  Bigger then the standard 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 card.  I love cards of all sizes and had been  looking at a tutorial on splitcoaststampers I wanted to try.  It's called a circular side step card .  I started my card base as a 8 inch circle so my finished card is 8 x 4.  I used the Close to my heart paper  La Belle Vie for my card.

Dakota Birthday Card

YeeHaw!

I am lovin' this new paper from Close to my heart- Dakota!  Who am I kidding I love all of the products from Close to my Heart but anyways...............  I needed to make a birthday card for a teenage boy.  Hard huh?  I know!  

But with these papers I didn't go "cowboy" style but I felt it looked masculine and a little rugged so I am pleased with the outcome. 

I love the wood grain, hounds tooth and Bandanna papers in this pack.  I decided after looking at Vicki's card that it was a perfect layout for my card as well.   And I lifted it and tweaked it a bit.   I added some of the circle studs - Love 'em!  And a chipboard star inked just a bit.  Used "Just a Number" Birthday greeting sentiment.  Thanks for stopping by!!
