Join us for a H2H Sketch Challenge!

Join us at H2H Challenge Blog for this weeks Sketch Challenge.  Make a card or a scrapbook layout-  It's up to you!  I choose to do a Layout since I had a Pic of my 12 year old son wearing his Mickey Ears this past Spring on our Disney trip!   He choose Mickey ears that had a "pirate" theme to them as they looked like the "coolest" ones ........  you know since he is 12!! lol

Here's the Sketch

And here's my Layout!!

I used Close to my heart Products as follows:

Paper: Elemental Paper pack
Cardstock: Black, Cranberry, and Colonial white
CTMH Cricut Cartridge to cut: Banners with scallop toppers, stars,  sunbursts, corner shape,  and the Letters "ears".
Stamps:  Trinity Alphabet for "all" and Vintage Type for the Banners.
Embellishments:  Red waxy flax, glitter on stars, Black mini medleys using ribbon and little tags.

The Captions on the side are from one of the "zipper" tops of the paper in the Elemental paper pack that I thought were perfect little sayings.  And I added one of my own " Never too old for Mickey ears!".  LOL

I apologize for the "shadow" under the right waxy flax.  I tried to take a few more pics and that dang "shadow" wanted to hang around.

Thanks for looking and go be Challenged! And be sure to share!

  1. Love this layout! Especially the Cricut-cut shapes and letters for ears. I always love seeing Disney layouts on non-Disney paper. You pulled all the bright colors and it looks awesome.

  3. Love this sketch as a layout, and I love Elemental--its so versatile, and allows you to feature your photo. This is a wonderful memento of your son, still young enough to smile for the camera, and to appreciate the magic of Disney...
